kristen and i have been away at the beach enjoying a short break. i was doing one of my favourite things to do, which is to read the newspaper whilst drinking iced coffee when i saw a rather familiar image on the cover of the summer age:

familiar because tom’s blog features the incredible hulk, as does some of his writing. (not familiar because i am a fan of eric bana’s film version of the hulk, because i’m not).

shortly thereafter i came across a double-page spread of one of tom’s short stories – today on dr phil. isn’t that great?

it’s a big day for snuffy.

even though she’s not here with us, i have discovered that she has been invited to join the flickr group for cats who like corn. yes, there is such a group.

for me this is even more momentous than the time i was invited to join the flickr lobster group when i had a photo of piers akkerman on my blog.

our move is complete, we are unpacked, and you can get a mini-tour of our house here. you won’t see the bathroom because i forgot to snap it. and you won’t see the front of the house because i was too lazy to put my shoes on and i didn’t want to go outside in my “toadally gorgeous” socks i got for christmas (featuring a smiling toad… geddit??)
