it feels a bit overwhelming to get back into blog reading and writing. life has taken me well away from my computer over the past few weeks so i just dropped out. it’s like picking up a book after leaving it for a while and discovering you forgot to put the bookmark in. i know all the characters and the basic storyline, but i’m not sure where to start reading, or how far to go back, or whether to go back at all or just forge on from here.
and when it comes to my own blog, i don’t know whether it’s worth updating readers on the pages that have been ripped out, or whether i should just resume the story from here. the thing about blogs – well, my blog, anyway – is that they’re not about the major events, they’re about the small observations. i figure they’re the things we have in common, that other people can read and relate to. i figure the big stuff is too specific to my own life to make interesting reading for others.
i might just pick up from here and pretend like nothing happened.

welcome back
good to see you and i think the little things are often most interesting.
welcome back. I think little things are often the most rewarding in this sort of thing.
Yes it’s the little things that count. I’m sure when I post something really major or meaningful people just clear their throats and become absorbed in something else to avoid commenting.
Hooray for people being back!
Welcome!!! index
